NetSuite Developer

The NetSuite Developer works directly with internal end users within the organization to develop new functions and customize existing ones to meet business needs. The Developer will oversee the continual maintenance and improvement of the system through gathering requirements, presenting potential solutions, and implementing changes. This role will serve as the "go-to" professional for all NetSuite related-issues and questions and will support the company's end-users on best practices to utilize all of the system functionalities.

A DAY IN THE LIFE: 

  • Build, develop, and test detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes 
  • Drive test planning, execution, and optimization support
  • Facilitate the creation and testing of future state business processes and script development
  • Plan, review and manage change configurations and customization requests
  • Utilize technical and business understanding to develop and implement creative system solutions
  • Configure NetSuite to align to company use of forms, fields, and customer records to manage unique business process requirements
  • Ensure business and functional requirements are properly configured in NetSuite and other IT financial enterprise applications
  • Maintain integrations with other applications
  • Create workflows, saved searches, and custom dashboards
  • Coordinate and communicate with impacted user groups
  • Provide internal, on-going system/technical support to users, including training, maintaining proper system access for all roles and user requests for new saved searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards
  • Develop scripts, workflows, integrations, reports, dashboards, custom objects, and permissions
  • Assist with scoping and designing new enhancements and Roadmap items
  • Provide on-going post implementation support to optimize user adoption and NetSuite configuration
  • Reviewing upgrades to evaluate the impact on processes, configurations, and customizations
  • Remain current on technology trends applicable to NetSuite
  • Address data-related problems regarding systems integration, compatibility, and multiple-platform integration
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

WHO YOU ARE: 

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of Functional NetSuite experience as a Developer
  • You have proven experience in successful development and deployment of inventory/supply chain solutions
  • You have full cycle implementation experience
  • You are advanced in MS Office, NetSuite, ERP, MRP and CRM 
  • You have strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • You can work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • You are energetic and enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and grow within the company
