Project Manager - Remote Opportunity

The Project Manager is key to executing BevSource client development strategy and delivering projects that enable future business growth. The Project Manager will work closely with entrepreneurs and senior leadership of our customers to develop, drive, and achieve objectives in a rapidly evolving industry with little to no supervision. Project Managers drive and own overall client satisfaction of BevSource development accounts by aligning customer expectations, establishing clear concise timelines, effective and timely communication of project statuses, communicating effectively with internal departments, and responsibly transitioning customers to the Supply Chain Team. A Project Manager must have exceptional communication skills that drive results both internally and externally, thorough knowledge of all beverage segments with an emphasis on our core focus segments, a complete understanding of our systems and processes, is proactive and solution minded, results oriented, has an understanding of cost structures of raw materials and finished goods, knowledge of financial implications and timeline impacts of project decisions, regulatory and compliance proficiency, a complete understanding of project timeline phases and all timeline tasks, and knowledge of industry packaging trends.

  • Develop new client relationships and maintain existing client relationships with the goal of new and repeated profitable business
  • Maintain and utilize beverage industry knowledge – Be the expert! Must use internal resources/expertise to expand your knowledge. 
  • Drive all internal processes within the organization that impact your ability to service the customer
  • Continuously develop and expand a thorough understanding of NetSuite & Smartsheet as a SME
  • For assigned projects, review SOWs to ensure complete understanding of project scope
  • Communicate timely and effectively with sales & client success teams regarding any secondary opportunities
  • Participate in Kick Off Call with customers and align expectations of project by confirming details of the SOW and customer’s needs
  • Create concise project timelines and communicate details to the customer
  • Conduct regular calls with customer to review project status
  • Research, identify, and make recommendations on co-packers for new customers and projects
  • Grow and maintain co-packer relationships and capability knowledge to be able to provide exceptional service levels to our customers
  • Work with customer to develop packaging options as desired ensuring they align with co-packer capabilities
  • Oversee new artwork set-up with customers and vendors
  • Oversee compliance for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and demonstrate complete understanding of compliance regulations and certification requirements – FDA, TTB, Organic, Kosher, Gluten Free, etc.
  • Validate proper set up for all production customers, their FG products, and associated RMs in NetSuite. I.e. Setup pack fees, update raw material items, build bill of materials (assemblies) in NetSuite
  • Oversee and review cost of goods sold and cash modeling for new product concepts
  • Advise customers on general supply chain and cost saving strategies
  • Oversee commercialization process for production set-up of new products
  • Conduct a Pre-Production meeting whereby you are transitioning the customer to other departments for additional services. 
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement and personal growth
  • Participate in the BevSource EOS/Traction Process
  • Support Director of Project Management, and Senior Project Managers as needed
  • Traveling to manufacturing facilities to monitor large-scale production for new and/or existing BevSource clients is required
  • Travel to the BevSource office at least once a quarter is required for remote employees


  • A bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent of 4+ years of related, professional experience required
  • 2-4 years minimum experience in Supply Chain, Project Management, Production Planning, Purchasing or similar role
  • 2+ years of leading complex client facing projects from conception through completion
  • Experience in Project Management software required, Smartsheet preferred
  • MRP/ERP software skills/understanding
  • Experience developing strong business relationships by building trust, rapport and excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, team members and vendors
  • A high degree of learning agility, with the ability to readily consume and apply new information and concepts with developed analytical problem-solving skills
  • The ability to manage 10-20 projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Projects may be both internal & external
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to influence without authority
  • You are willing and flexible to travel up to 25% of the time (international travel may be required) and the ability to work nights and weekends when traveling. If applying as a remote candidate, travel could be up to 30-35% of the time factoring in travel to the BevSource office quarterly.


  • Experience with process improvement and implementation
  • Experience in food and beverage industry, or consumer packaged goods preferred
  • Experience in new product launches preferred
  • Knowledge of beverage industry standards of quality, food safety and compliance regulations including CFIA, FDA, USDA, TTB, Organic, Kosher, Gluten Free, etc.
  • Experience in a Key Account or Customer Service Role within a business setting where you are responsible for client success.
  • Experience in pricing & contract negations
