Project Relations Manager

As a Project Relations Manager, you will work closely with the Director of Operations as well as the Product Development Manager and Supply Chain Manager to provide all account management to our clients.  The position requires thorough knowledge of the supply chain process as well as exceptional communication skills.  This position serves as the key point of contact between BevSource and its customers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by assisting with Supply Chain process improvement
  • Track time spent on projects to further analyze BevSource customer profitability
  • Participate in the BevSource EOS/Traction Process
  • Develop, maintain, and utilize beverage industry knowledge – become the expert!
  • Work closely with the sales team to establish clear SOW and deliverables with BevSource customers
  • Lead new BevSource customer/project kick off calls followed by detailed new project scope details
  • Advise on customer close-down
  • Create, manage, and execute new project timelines, leading presentation of final deliverables and working closely with the Supply Chain and Product Development Managers to assign appropriate resources
  • Accountable for new customer/project success
  • Communicate regular project updates to customers and BevSource team members.
  • Document project timeline delays, identify root cause, and work with BevSource team to resolve the issues that delayed projects or created poor service levels
  • Coordinate and lead pre-production calls with BevSource customers
  • Field out of scope customer projects and requests and communicate new business opportunities, when appropriate, to sales
  • Attend regular customer conference calls and meetings
  • Responsible for communicating effectively, openly, and honestly with customers
  • Manage new and existing customer relationships, with a heavy focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations, customer retention, and conflict resolution
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction, including regular check-ins with customers on BevSource service deliveries
  • Grow and maintain assigned co-packer relationships
  • Drive forward thinking and long-term customer strategy through a proactive consultative approach (ie. cost saving opportunities)
  • Compile and send monthly account update for top BevSource customers
  • Travel to manufacturing facilities to monitor large-scale production for new BevSource clients and/or large-scale production of new products for existing BevSource clients may be required

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years minimum of applicable experience
  • Self-directed, hard-working, and results oriented
  • Customer service driven - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills is a must
  • Strong strategic thinking and forward planning skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong mathematical and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Energetic and Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and grow within the company
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 25% of the time (including nights, weekends, and potentially international travel)
