Supply Chain Analyst

As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will service all operational needs of our clients while growing and maintaining client, co-packer, and vendor relations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels on packaging, raw materials, and finished goods
  • Reconcile all inventory and address variances
  • Report to customers about inventory levels on a regular basis
  • Manage customer production planning through analysis of inventory and projected demand to develop accurate production forecasting for realistic production recommendations
  • Send rolling forecasts for all vendors and suppliers
  • Production planning including PO creation, submission, follow-up, etc.
  • Manage customer prepayments to suppliers
  • Communicate production scheduling updates to customers on a regular basis
  • Grow and maintain co-packer relationships to be able to provide exceptional service levels to our customers
  • Travel to manufacturing facilities to monitor large-scale production for new and/or existing BevSource clients may be required
  • Monitor production runs for quality and consistency
  • Address quality issues with co-packers, distributors, or third-party vendors
  • Manage customer claims 
  • Coordinate and lead weekly customer calls
  • Create and maintain Cost of Goods Sold on a regular basis
  • Meet/Exceed Customer expectations
  • Advise customers on general supply chain and cost saving strategies
  • Work closely with Product Development Analyst to ensure seamless customer account transitions from projects to supply chain focus
  • Attend pre-production calls
  • Assist in compiling Monthly Account Summary for top customers
  • Utilize MRP software and systems effectively
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement
  • Track time spent on projects to further analyze BevSource customer profitability
  • Participate in the BevSource EOS/Traction Process
  • Support Director of Supply Chain as needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years minimum of applicable experience 
  • Strong Excel, mathematical, and negotiation skills
  • Strong MRP software understanding and skills
  • Customer service driven with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-directed, hard-working, and results oriented
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and grow within the company
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 25% of the time (including nights, weekends, and potentially international)
