Supply Chain Analyst

As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will service all operational needs of our clients. The SCA is the production client’s 'Quarterback' who is accountable for their overall satisfaction. The SCA ensures that all operational needs of the client’s business are serviced, providing oversight on inventory, production, and order management. They ensure that all internal BevSource departments have the information they need to service the client appropriately and to the expectations of both BevSource and the client. The SCA must gain a complete understanding of the inner workings of BevSource’s systems and processes. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Complete satisfaction of production customers is the primary responsibility.  Address every issue a customer may have either directly or by utilizing other departments/resources for assistance.
  • Meet/Exceed Customer expectations – drive the process and demonstrate expertise in supply chain logistics
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the Supply Chain and ancillary departments. Must understand how CS, Compliance, Accounting, Development, CP, Sales, Co-Packers, and Vendors impact the customer. Develop an understanding of all internal processes within the organization that impact your ability to service the customer
  • Analyze customer production planning needs through analysis of current inventory levels, shipping history, and projected demand to develop production requirements. With client collaboration, finalize production finished good forecasts and input into item supply plans.
  • Analyze finished good movement and initiate finished good transfers where required.
  • Input and maintain item supply plans within NetSuite. Work with client to receive final approvals on forecasted productions and communicate final approval to Planners. Submit regular and proactive forecasting to all vendors
  • Receive, review, approve, and present cash schedules to clients. Resolve any questions surrounding cash flow and prepayment requirements. Monitor prepayment requirements to ensure timely payment processing.
  • Oversee all aspects of the production planning process to ensure production is scheduled within required time frames and that all associated raw materials will be delivered on time. Manage all escalated issues that jeopardize production timing. 
  • Ensure all details regarding finished good quality specifications are communicated to the appropriate parties
  • Confirm production attendance requirements and when applicable, travel to manufacturing facilities to monitor quality and consistency.
  • Communicate production scheduling updates and final production yields to the client on a regular and proactive basis.
  • Audit and verify the accuracy of all material receipts and assembly builds within NetSuite.
  • Oversee the regular maintenance of all client data in NetSuite. Work with the client to set-up and maintain all NetSuite reporting requirements.
  • Review and approve month end inventory reconciliations as input by the Planners. Communicate with clients on current inventory, inventory reconciliation statuses and discrepancies.
  • Address quality issues with co-packers, distributors, or third-party vendors in a timely manner. Maintain a thorough understanding of all open client claims, and drive to resolution within 45 days
  • Maintain cost of goods sold on a regular basis for your clients – advise on general supply chain and cost saving strategies
  • Analyze old inventory status and work with client on plan to address old/slow moving inventory.  Address these issues BEFORE the inventory is expired
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate inventory levels on packaging, raw materials, and finished goods.
  • Review, approve, and send post-production documentation to clients
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients.
  • Field conversations surrounding new opportunities and communicate all details to sales in a timely manner. Monitor secondary set-ups to ensure client is being serviced in a timely manner, to ours and our client’s expectations.
  • Coordinate and lead routine client calls. 
  • Work closely with Product Development Analyst to ensure seamless customer account transitions from projects to supply chain focus
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of NetSuite, with the ability to plan a production from Item Supply Plans through assembly builds and inventory reconciliations
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement
  • Cover for Production Planner during PTO and unexpected time off
  • Track time spent on projects to further analyze BevSource customer profitability
  • Participate in the BevSource EOS/Traction Process
  • Support Director of Supply Chain as needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years minimum of applicable experience 
  • Strong Excel, mathematical, and negotiation skills
  • Strong MRP software understanding and skills
  • Customer service driven with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-directed, hard-working, and results oriented
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and grow within the company
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 25% of the time (including nights, weekends, and potentially international)
