Supply Chain Assistant

The Supply Chain Assistant is the primary liaison between Supply Chain and Purchasing for status updates and any production schedule changes that may affect orders. The Supply Chain Assistant oversees all inventory management in the system including reconciliations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate inventory levels on packaging, raw materials, and finished goods
  • Request and receive month end inventory reports from all co-packing and warehousing locations
  • Data entry of inventory counts into NetSuite
  • Review and address any inventory discrepancies with Supply Chain Analyst
  • Analyze old inventory status and proactively work Supply Chain Analyst on a plan to address old and slow-moving inventory
  • Know and communicate the delivery status of raw materials that may impact product and monitor for anything that may cause a production to go off track
  • Communicate updates on order delivery dates
  • Work with the Purchasing Team on production schedule changes when necessary
  • Collaborate with Purchasing Assistant to ensure raw materials order accuracy and provide delivery updates to team
  • Maintaining accuracy of PO’s/SO’s (purchase orders/sales orders) including proper ship dates, delivery dates, pricing, etc.
  • Follow up and resolve any PO’s that are old or not within delivery windows
  • Assist Supply Chain Analysts in data analytics
  • Provide solutions, recommendations, and information with a sense of urgency, positivity, and empathy
  • Ensure consistent, reliable, and timely responses to internal department/customer inquiries and issues
  • Utilize MRP software and systems effectively and participate in the BevSource EOS/Traction Process
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associates degree in business, technical discipline or 2 years of relevant work history required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years minimum of applicable experience is preferred
  • Customer driven with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a strong desire to learn
  • Hard-working with a strong work ethic
  • Strong desire and passion to help people
  • Ability to build relationships with clients, partners and coworkers
  • ERPMRP software and computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
