Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the overall satisfaction and management of the team responsible for overseeing the operations aspects of our clients’ manufacturing activities.  This team is comprised of Operations Business Specialists, Senior Business Operations Specialists and Junior Operations Business Specialist roles. The Manager is responsible for overseeing resource planning, training and technical needs, tracking and trending KPIs used to manage the department and ensuring each team member is carrying out business in a way that aligns with our business goals and strategy.  

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Manage a team of individuals responsible for carrying out the daily operations activities for all clients. 
  • Ensure all clients are assigned resources that align with their contracted business objectives.  
  • Address every issue a customer may have either directly or by utilizing other departments/resources for assistance
  • Maintain consistently high customer satisfaction levels and create raving BevSource customers for life
  • Key Account Management – create regular check ins with key customer accounts, either by connecting on an individual basis or teaming up with the Customer Success Team to solicit feedback.
  • Manage, oversee, and drive successful onboarding of clients into the production team by creating regular check points with the team to understand account activities, as well as use data to drive client growth. 
  • Mentor team members as they guide clients through the commercialization/development process for new projects. Consult on project direction, timelines, and costing implications. Communicate all details for new opportunities to sales in a timely manner and monitor secondary set-ups to ensure client is being serviced in a timely manner, to ours and our client’s expectations.
  • Ensure all team members are efficiently managing customer accounts to drive profitability
  • Ensure all team members are using a proactive approach to planning client production needs
  • Establish and maintain a Team Culture that supports BevSource’s Core Values
  • LMA for the all Operations Business Specialists, Junior Operations Business Specialists and Senior Operations Business Specialists through implementation and maintenance of “Best Practice” processes, enhanced teamwork, KPI’s, standards of accountability, and utilization of EOS
  • Manage Department P&L and have solid financial acumen, including understanding financial documents and explaining financials results as they relate to the department.  
  • Manage the department hiring process which includes reviewing resumes, conducting face-to-face interviews, and making hiring decisions
  • Work with the Director of Operations Services and Production Planning to design and develop training programs for new employees and company-wide onboarding training. Train and onboard new BevSource employees utilizing this program
  • Identify training needs for current employees, make recommendations for continuous training, and support team development
  • Support, guide, and mentor employees through complex problem solving. Be an industry expert and a “Go-to Resource” for the team through management of a variety of beverage types
  • Drive department initiatives, remove obstacles, and be a sincere advocate for the team
  • Provide continuous recommendations on process improvement, account assignments, and strategic department growth
  • Accountable for the execution of post-production documents, all month end-related activities and deliverables, and other critical department processes 
  • Work with Development team to create a seamless transition process for the customer from development department to supply chain department
  • Drive and support client and co-packer business reviews with thoughtful and strategic growth planning to support supply chain initiatives
  • Ensure you and your team resolve Claims within 45 days with vendors and clients 
  • Be a NetSuite subject matter expert and provide continuous recommendations on internal process improvement. 
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the Supply Chain and ancillary departments. Must understand how CS, Compliance, Accounting, Development, CP, Sales, Co-Packers, and Vendors impact the customer. Develop an understanding of all internal processes within the organization that impact your ability to service the customer
  • Support Director of Operations Services and Production Management.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent required
  • You have 5-7 years minimum of applicable experience 
  • You have experience managing groups of more than 6 people.
  • You are passionate and customer service driven with strong, interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
  • You have a proven ability to lead, inspire and influence a team
  • You exhibit superior problem-solving skills and capabilities
  • You have excellent NetSuite MRP software understanding and skills
  • You have advanced Microsoft Suite skills including Excel and Powerpoint. 
  • You are self-directed, hard-working, detailed and results oriented
  • You have an ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • You are energetic and enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and grow within the company. 
  • You have a willingness and flexibility to travel up to 25% of the time (including nights, weekends, and international)
