Regional Sales Manager - Remote Opportunity in South Central/Southwest USA Territory

As a Regional Sales Manager, you hold a crucial role in driving the growth of our Product Sales business. Your primary responsibility is to identify and secure new clients and grow existing accounts in your designated region.  The designated region for this territory includes but not limited to: Texas, Arizona, Nevada, and Southern California. By generating new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and meeting sales targets, you will expand our customer base. This position requires a strategic and motivated professional who excels in a competitive market and consistently delivers exceptional results.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Developing and qualifying leads to drive additional sales opportunities through research, prospecting, networking, and other lead generation opportunities
  • Conduct research to identify potential customers within the assigned region.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Support Specialist to identify target market accounts and maintain a well-developed pipeline of qualified prospects and opportunities.
  • Proactively contact prospects using cold-calling, networking, and other effective sales techniques.
  • Present our packaging and ingredients products to potential beverage clients, demonstrating how they can benefit their business.
  • Develop and maintain strong, enduring relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Exceed ambitious sales targets for the region by effectively closing new businesses using a strategic sales approach.
  • Manage and expand the new and existing customer base by identifying new product sales, negotiating contracts, and managing prices and margins.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, promptly addressing any concerns or inquiries.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of BevSource's packaging and ingredient products and pricing structure.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regional competitor activities.
  • Utilize market insights to identify potential business opportunities and new offerings, and enhance our competitive edge.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing, sales support, product sales, and sourcing, to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Manage data in NetSuite and CRM platforms.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and other relevant data.
  • Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • You have strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field 
  • Minimum 5 years outside business-to-business sales with a proven track record of success
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in the beverage, ingredient or transactional industry 
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
  • Strong cold-calling, negotiation, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented individual
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales-related tools and technology
  • Ability to hold accountability and act with a sense of urgency and hustle
  • Confident, creative, and strong entrepreneurial drive
  • Possess the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities 
  • Strong customer-service orientation with a will-to-win attitude

  • Ability and willingness to travel 30% of the time
